At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Perform system setup
- Create user defined groups and use them to monitor attendance
- Take an electronic register in the classroom and access links to other areas of the database
- Use manual setup and data entry
- Use data entry of attendance and behaviour in the classroom
- Use global entry of data for groups
- Design and produce attendance related letters and certificates
- Use reports to improve attendance and behaviour in school
Aims:
To introduce users to the SIMS Attendance module and advise on set up procedures and best practice routines in order to achieve successful implementation of the module in the school. To explore the recording of attendance in the classroom and further maintenance of attendance data. To investigate reports and analysis procedures that can be used to record and improve attendance in school
