Designed for:
Teaching and non-teaching staff who have responsibility for the day to day cover of absent staff. It may also be of interest to those who require an overview of staff absence cover.

At the end of the course you will be able to:

• Add and edit Reasons for absence and Room Closure
• Add and edit Rotas & Suspension Rules
• Managing Staff Weightings
• Offsets & Cover Credit Settings
• Edit Non-class Codes cover Settings & Global Settings
• Add and use Supply agencies and Supply Staff
• Use the Cover Diary for adding new absences and room closures
• Print daily notice board summaries and cover slips
• Print absence and cover statistics
• Deal with examination invigilators within the Cover diary through various activities using Capita data.

Aims:
The course will cover checking staff records for use with Cover .net, setting up and maintaining reasons for absence and room closure and Cover rotas.

Dates:
This is a one day course which runs from 09.30 - 15.30.
