Academic Management - Secondary
Designed for:
School staff with responsibility for maintaining academic data in school, particularly those responsible for class memberships. Users of SIMS.net who rely on accurate class and course membership details in other areas of SIMS would also find the training of interest.
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Allocate students to Base Bands and maintain Base Band memberships
- Allocate students to Classes within Blocks and maintain Class memberships
- Resolve conflicts and clashes which may arise from Base Band adjustments
- Carry out Carousel arrangements in areas such as Technology
- Make use of export and import routines for maintaining class memberships
- Manage specific individual student curriculum requirements
- Manage the curriculum for a new student
- Print Academic Information in SIMS
Aims:
This course provides a detailed understanding of Academic Management within SIMS.
